Da Nang (VNA) – Secretary of the Da Nang PartyCommittee Nguyen Van Quang and Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee LeTrung Chinh hosted a reception for leaders of the BRG Group and SumitomoCorporation Vietnam on December 21.

The event was intended to define specific moves to realise the MoUs onproject development signed between Da Nang authorities andthe two corporations during Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh’s official visit to Japanin November.

At the reception, the Chairman of the Da Nang People’sCommittee informed his guests that Da Nang is calling for investment in its major projects andwilling to create optimal conditions for operation of the businesses.

Local officials updated the guests on orientations and plans for the city's development as well as relevant legal regulations andinvestment incentives for urban infrastructure projects such as a logisticscentre, Lien Chieu port and Da Nang Hi-tech Park.

For their part, BRG Group Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Nga and Chairmanand General Director of Sumitomo Corporation Vietnam Taniguchi Koichi highlyvalued information provided by Da Nang authorities, affirming that it serves asimportant foundation for them to devise investment proposals.

The same day, representatives of the corporations paidfact-finding trips to Da Nang international airport, Lien Chieu port and DaNang Hi-tech Park./.
