Hanoi’s CPI rose 0.22 percent againstlast month, representing a year-on-year increase of 6.67 percent.
Except post and telecom servicesthat remained unchanged and restaurant services that dropped by 0.05percent, the remaining nine commodity groups saw price increases of lessthan 1 percent.
The housing, fuel and constructionmaterial group experienced the highest increase of 0.99 percent,followed by the garment, hats and footwear group with 0.95 percent.
In Ho Chi Minh City, the indexrose only 0.1 percent against last month, marking a 3.9 percent increasesince the beginning of this year.
Eight out of 11commodity groups saw slight increases ranging from 0.01 percent to 0.7percent. Especially, the group of restaurant services decreased by 0.18percent.-VNA
