Conjoined twins successfully separated in Hanoi

The four-month-old boys from the northern province of Yen Bai were conjoined in their belly and part of their chest.

The twins are reported to be in stable condition, said Pham Duy Hien,deputy director of the hospital’s surgery department. According to him,the babies can be discharged from hospitals in 7-10 days.

Director of the hospital, Associate Professor Le Thanh Hai said thisis the sixth pair of conjoined twins to have been separated at thehospital since 2003.-VNA

Hanoi tightens control, prevention of monkeypox
