Speakingat the event, Politburo member and Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam CentralCommittee and Head of its Organisation Commission Pham Minh Chinh said thatamid complicated developments in the global situation, the two parties need to havecorrect assessments and forecasts to carry out appropriate policies andsolutions.
Hestressed the importance of coordinating in studying and sharing viewpoints onthe international situation to help the two parties enhance trust, mutualunderstanding and collaborate more effectively at international forums for agoal of building a world of peace, stability, prosperity and development.
Theexchanges like this have contributed to perfecting Vietnam’s theories on theroadmap to socialism and to drawing up the country’s policies.
Chinhexpressed his belief that through this event, the friendship, cooperation andtrust between the two parties will be consolidated and intensified, thuscontributing to developing the Vietnam-Japan relations.
FormerPresident of the Japanese Communist Party (JCP) Fuwa Tetsuzo, who is directorof the JCP Social Sciences Institute, said that at present the JCP onlyconducts the theory exchange systematically with the Communist Party ofVietnam.
Hestated he believed this exchange will help strengthen the two parties’operations.
Threediscussion sessions are scheduled to take place at the two-day exchange.-VNA
