Hanoi (VNA) – The northern region of Vietnam is predicted to experience a fresh cold spell from November 28 to December 8, according tothe National Centre for Hydro-meteorological Forecasting.
It is forecast to cause the temperature nationwide to be 0.5 –1 degrees Celsius lower than the annual average, especially in the northernmountainous region.
It will also trigger moderate to heavy rains in the centraland southern regions, even over 500mm in certain areas.
In the capital city of Hanoi, the temperature is forecast to drop at night andearly morning, with days from November 30 to December 8 seeing the lowest temperature./.
