Under the summons dated July 16, Kem Sokhawill be questioned about his responsibility as one of CNRP leadersengaging in the demonstration at the Democracy Square on July 15.
The move came up after five parliamentarians and oneyouth leaders of CNRP were arrested and detained at Prey So prison onJuly 16 in the charges of leading illegal protest, inciting lawviolations and masterminding the plot to cause violent situation.
CNRP-led protest with an aim to remove barriers around the DemocracySquare , turned violent, resulting in 10 protesters and 38 policemeninjured.-VNA
