Beijing (VNA) – China and Thailand pledged to enhance relations and military cooperation in fields such as training and defence on January 26.
Chinese Minister of National Defence Chang Wanquan and Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Army Teerachai Nakwanich made the remark during their meeting in Beijing.
The Chinese officer hailed the cooperation between the countries’ armed forces in recent years, particularly in joint training, adding that the Chinese People’s Liberation Army highly values its relationship with Thailand’s armed forces.
For his part, Teerachai Nakwanich said his country welcomes bilateral collaboration in joint training and defence and hopes that their partnership will be intensified in various spheres.-VNA
