The fifth China-ASEAN Youth Camp kickedoff on April 22 in Guangxi province’s capital of Nanning, China.
Entitled “ASEAN youth learn about China”, the seven-day programme sawthe participation of some 100 young people from 10 ASEAN countries,including government officers, business people, artists, students and asupervisor of the ASEAN’s secretariat.
During the programme, the participants will visit Nanning city andthe two provinces of Guilin and Guiyang to explore China-ASEANcooperation along with China ’s policies on ethnic groups, thecountry’s traditional medicine, and the activities of Chinese youthincluding study and work.
The first China-ASEAN Youth Camp was held in 2006./.
