Charity swim to be held in Hoi An

The Monster Swim Vietnam charity event will be held at the Sunrise Beach Resort on August 18, the event organiser Rudy van Work said on August 4.

Participants will swim over 10km past Cua Dai Beach and An Bang Beach.

Participants can donate to Hoi An’s vulnerable children bypurchasing T-shirts, caps and charity dinner tickets at the informationbooth near the Japanese Bridge in Hoi An.

The Mekong Delta province of Bac Lieu on October 21 signed a cooperation agreement with Uiseong county, Gyeongsangbuk-do province of the Republic of Korea (RoK) on sending local labourers to the RoK to work seasonally under the form of locality-to-locality collaboration between the two countries in the 2023 - 2027 period.

Tien Giang strives to reduce poverty rate to 0.87% this year
