Cambodia’s top legislator vows to back cooperation with Vietnam

PhnomPenh (VNA) - President of Cambodia’s National Assembly HengSamrin affirmed that the legislature and he personally always support and wantto boost cooperation with Vietnam at his reception for outgoing VietnameseAmbassador Thach Du in Phnom Penh on September 29.

Thetop legislator appreciated the Vietnamese diplomat’s contributions to nurturingand consolidating the bilateral friendship and solidarity.

Heexpressed his belief that in the new position, the diplomat will maintain hissupport for the bilateral relations.

AmbassadorDu thanked the NA President and Cambodia’s ministries, agencies and localitiesfor helping the embassy and other Vietnamese offices in the country fulfilltheir tasks.

Hewishes Cambodia will gain greater achievements in its nation construction anddevelopment.
