However, the ministry said the country’s budget spending last year edged up 39 percent against the previous year.
The ministry’s report also said the country has achieved a stablemacro economy, despite floods and the unstable political situation.
Growth in such key economic sectors as garment-textiles,construction, tourism and investment have contributed to the country’sincreasing budget collection, the report said.
Last year, the Cambodian Government spent 4.4 percent of the gross domestic product on social services.-VNA
