In recent years, Cambodia’sgemstone and jewellery industry has grown substantially, making it animportant economic sector that not only meets domestic demands but alsoboosts tourism.
International tourists are extremely interestedin Cambodia’s gems and fine jewellery products due to their uniquedesigns. The country is famous for its precious ruby, which is found inthe Pailin region near Thailand.
The exhibition, which runs until July 26, also features a gemstone and jewellery fashion show.-VNA
