The ministry added that each classroom must allow only 15 to20 students to study at a time to maintain distancing, and regular handwash and mask wearing are required, with the sale of food inside schools prohibited.
“The ministry will not allow teachers who are unvaccinatedto teach in the classroom but they may teach online from home. Schoolprincipals should be advising them to go to get vaccinated as soon aspossible,” the paper quoted the ministry’s statement as saying.
Earlier, on September 15, Grades 9 to 12 were able to applyfor permission to reopen with strict adherence to pandemic prevention measures.
In late September, Prime Minister Hun Sen called on theMinistry of Education to allow the reopening of public and state universitiesthroughout the country following the reopening of those grades.
