Binh Phuoc: 18 women awarded “Heroic Vietnamese Mother” title

Eighteen women whose husbands and children laid down in the fight for national liberation and protection in the southern province of Binh Phuoc were honoured with the “Heroic Vietnamese Mother” title on May 5.

Binh Phuoc (VNA) – Eighteen womenwhose husbands and children laid down in the fight for national liberation andprotection in the southern province of Binh Phuoc were honoured with the “HeroicVietnamese Mother” title on May 5.

With the recognition, the provincecurrently has a total of 337 heroic Vietnamese mothers.

Speaking at the event, Vice Chairman of theprovincial People’s Committee Nguyen Tien Dung expressed his gratitude to theheroic mothers for their sacrifice to the country’s revolutionary cause.

He also called on local authorities at alllevels and people to continue taking care of heroic mothers and those whorendered services for the nation.-VNA
