Khanh Hoa(VNA) - A Belarusian aircraft with humanitarian cargo weighing a total of42 tonnes landed at Cam Ranh Airport in the central coastal province of KhanhHoa on January 21.
The cargo was accompanied by a delegation ofrepresentatives from the Ministry for Emergency Situations of Belarus led byDeputy Minister for Emergency Situations, Aleksandr Khudoleev, according to apress release by the Belarusian Embassy.
The delegation brought humanitarian aid to theregions of Vietnammost severely affected by destructive typhoons and floods last year.
The humanitarian aid includes goods fromBelarusian producers such as food products (children’s dry mixes, cereals,canned meat), tents, blankets, diesel power generators, and camp cots.
On the same day, a solemn ceremony took place at the Cam Ranh airport in which the Ambassador of Belarus to Vietnam, andDeputy Minister for Emergency Situations of Belarus handed over thehumanitarian aid to the Vietnamese side.
