Among the 17 categories of the AsiaSustainability Reporting Awards 2018 (ASRA), Bao Viet’s report was nominated infour: Asia’s Best Sustainability Report (Stand-alone), Asia’s Most TransparentReport, Asia’s Best Materiality Reporting and Asia’s Best SustainableDevelopment Goals Reporting.
It won the Asia’s Most Transparent Report, thefirst time a Vietnamese company has received an award in this category.
The Bao Viet report was praised by the ASRAjudging panel for using the new Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards anda creative presentation format.
Not only providing financial information, thisreport also detailed non-financial information like development strategy,corporate governance quality, social activities and environmental issues.-VNA
