Bangkok (NNT/VNA) – Bangkok authorities are puttingthe final touches to improvements to the landscaping in Bangkok’s Phra Nakhondistrict, and all the landscape improvements for His Majesty the King’scoronation ceremonies will be completed by the end of this month.
In Phra Nakhon district, officials have repainted wallssurrounding Ratchabophit temple, while the roads with uneven surfaces have beenrepaired. The officials have also repaired residential houses in the area andbeautified their doors and windows. Many government office fences have alreadybeen decorated with yellow and white fabric together with the Thai nationalflag and the royal emblem.
On Ratchadamnoen Klang Road, the landscaping work is almost100 percent complete, as the officials have decorated the Democracy Monument,repainted road markings and trimmed the roadside trees.
The procession route for His Majesty the King’s coronationceremonies covers a distance of 7.2 kilometres in Bangkok Old City. Thelandscaping of government offices, historical sites and residential housesalong the route and other related tasks, such as setting up worshiping tables,will be completed by the end of April.-NNT/VNA
