Theinstitute, costing nearly 700 billion VND (30.4 million USD), is expected todeal with the shortage of workforce in the field.
Uponoperational by 2022, it will train nearly 3,500 students each year on a site of10ha, focusing on professional skills such as pilots, flight attendants,aviation technicians, ground operations and basic training functions.
Itwill also partner with prestigious domestic and foreign universities to ensure thehighest aviation education standards such as CAAV, EASA, FAA and IATA.
HoThi Thu Trang, Bamboo Airways Director of Human Resources and Deputy Directorof the Training Centre said on-site training is theoverall plan that the carrier chooses to ensure human resources itself.
After being put into operation, the institutewill contribute to increasing the number of domestic personnel, reducingreliance on foreign partners, improving competitiveness as well as ensuringsustainable growth of Vietnam’s aviation industry, she said.-VNA
