Students from the first to sixth graders in alldistricts across Hanoi have resumed in-person classes from April 6, and with only two months left in the 2021-2022 academicyear, schools are working hard to ensure the curricula of the year.
“Teachers will make use of offline learning to equiptheir students with what they missed during online classes," said Tran Thi Loan,Principal of Thanh Liet Primary School in Thanh Tri district. “Student will havelesson reviews and exams at school.”
Le Thi Thu Hang, Principal of Ba Trieu PrimarySchool in Hai Ba Trung district, said apart from lessons in the curriculum,teachers will help their students come back to school activities during thefirst week.
For many first graders in Hanoi, it was the first time for them to go to school in this school year, so they were excited and eager to get to know their schools. Teachers will spend time to help them get used to school life and class rules.
Schools arerequested to ensure safety against COVID-19 in line with the guidance given bythe Department of Education and Training and the Department of Health,while making preparations and plans to respond to the situation where COVID-19infections are detected in schools.
The SteeringCommittees for COVID-19 Prevention and Control of the districts are authorisedto consider the suspension of direct learning to ensure utmost safety forstudents in case infections are found in classes and schools. /.
