A trade fair is taking place in the northern city of Bac Giang withthe participation of 150 businesses from 13 provinces across thecountry, looking to seek wider business ties for local manufacturers.
Opened on November 14, the fair is providing space for 320 boothsfeaturing a wide range of consumer foods, from electronics, apparels,footwear, pharmaceutical products, to building materials, jewellery, andhandicrafts.
Local producers are able to seek potentialdistributors as well as material suppliers and seal lucrative deals asthe fair is attended by such big brand names as the military-runViettel, apparel maker Hanosimex, and seafood producer 584 Nha Trang.
Tran Van Loc, Director of the Bac Giang provincial Department ofIndustry and Trade, expressed his hope that the event will helppopularise the locality’s economic, investment and trade potential.
