Bac Giang (VNA) – The Department of Labour, Invalids,and Social Affairs of the northern province of Bac Giang on March 7 held an onlinerecruitment event connected to 12cities and provinces, drawing nearly 100 enterprises with the total demand ofabout 40,000 labourers.
The online recruitment site of Bac Giang was linked with websitesfor employment service centres in Bac Ninh, Hanoi, Hai Duong, Cao Bang, BacKan, Son La, Hoa Binh, Lang Son, Quang Ninh, Thai Nguyen, and Vinh Phuc,detailing information on job vacancies, salaries, bonuses, and social welfarefor each job.
In Bac Giang alone, 17 local enterprises, including five inlabour exports, registered to join the online employment event with a total of 12,000vacancies.
According to Vice Director of the Bac Giang Department ofLabour, Invalids, and Social Affairs Le Quang Trung, activities likee-recruitment fairs are among the top solutions to connecting labour supply anddemand sources, facilitating the stable and healthy development of the labourmarket.
He said that in the future, Bac Giang will strengthen its provisionof labour market information and both short- and long-term forecasts; connectwith vocational training facilities to compile suitable training programmes; improvethe quality of recruitment facilities; and increase IT application inconnecting supply and demand sources.
On the occasion, the Bac Giang Employment Service Centre signeda memorandum of understanding on labour supply with the Bac Giang College of Technology,the Vietnam-Korea College of Technology, the PT Daehan Global Yen Dung company,and Siflex Vietnam Ltd.
By the end of the online event, 250 labourers were able tofind new employment. –VNA
