According to the US Chamber ofCommerce (AmCham) in Vietnam, the sector is likely to post a gradualgrowth in its apparel exports to the market due to a moderate increasein labour costs estimate for next year.
TheSoutheast Asian nation is expected to enjoy the strongest growth amongthe largest clothing exporters to the US, namely China, India,Indonesia, Mexico and Bangladesh.
Currently, Vietnam ’s textile-garment exports account for 36 percent of its total export turnover to the US .
The sector might bring home 16.4 billion USD from shipping its products to the US by 2025.-VNA
