Da Nang (VNA) – Cambodia’s Angkor Air has officially launched a newdirect route from Phnom Penh to Da Nang with five flights per week on AirbusA320, starting from October 27.
The flight on the new route will take off from Phnom Penh at 1pm and from DaNang International Airport at 3.35pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturdayand Sunday.
The inaugural flight landed at Da Nang International Airport at 2.50 pm onOctober 27 with 120 passengers aboard.
It is the second direct flight from Cambodia to Da Nang after the first betweenSiem Reap and Da Nang with seven flights per week.
The launch of the new route will help promote tourism between central Vietnamand Cambodia.
Angkor Air is also operating direct flights between Ho Chi Minh City and PhnomPenh and from Siem Reap to HCM City with 21 flights per week each route, whilefrom Sihanouk Ville to HCM City with seven flights per week./.
