The company is aiming to regain its crown in the pick-up market and enhance VSM's business strategy in Vietnam.
Firstintroduced in 1978, pick-up trucks have gained a strong user baseworldwide, from the first Forte to the fourth generation Triton/L200models, which all together have accumulated more than 4,000,000 units ofproduction volume.
"We are focusing more on SUVs, pick-ups andelectric vehicles as key products and also in ASEAN countries such asVietnam," President and COO of Mitsubishi Motors Corporation TetsuroAikawa said.
