Exports in November alone reaching 4.2 billion is a sign of the agro-forestry-fishery recovery after the lockdown, representing a year-on-year increase of nearly 9 per cent. Such positive results mean the annual target 44 billion USD for 2021 is feasible.
Specifically, exports of main agricultural products were estimated at over 19 billion USD, rising nearly 14 per cent compared to the previous year.
In regard to market share, Asian markets take the lead with 43 per cent, followed by American with 29.6 per cent.
The US is Vietnam’s largest export market with a value of nearly 12 billion USD. China comes second with 8.4 billion USD, followed by Japan with 3 billion USD.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development said it would join hand with other ministries and agencies to remove obstacles in the production, circulation and consumption of agricultural products, helping the sector fulfil or even surpass its set target for the year./.
