HCM City (VNA) –State-of-the-art technologies and products in fire protection and rescue,security and safety are being on display at the International Exhibition ofSecurity, Fire Safety & Smart Building Technologies and Solutions in Ho ChiMinh City.

The expo, which opened on August 16, features more than 500 booths of 300 agencies,organisations and manufacturers from 20 nations and territories like the UnitedKingdom, Germany, the Netherlands, the United State, the Republic of Korea,Thailand, China and Japan, along with domestic producers.

The three-day event showcases advanced fire rescue and prevention equipment andsecurity products as well as introduces advanced technologies on fire fightingand prevention and solutions for buildings.

The event offers an excellent opportunityfor State management agencies and businesses to access latest fire fightingtechnologies. It is also a good chance for people to learn about fire preventionsolutions, said Major General Doan Viet Man, Head of the Ministry of PublicSecurity’s Police Department of Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue.

The expo is jointly held by the PoliceDepartment of Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue under the Ministry ofPublic Security, and Vietnam Advertisement & Fair Exhibition JSC – VIETFAIR.-VNA
