Activities mark anniversary of Vietnam People's Army in Cambodia

Phnom Penh (VNA) – A delegation ledby Vietnamese Ambassador to Cambodia Nguyen Huy Tang offered incense at the Vietnam– Cambodia Friendship Monument in Phnom Penh on December 17, on the occasion ofthe 77th anniversary of Vietnam People’s Army (December 22) and the32nd anniversary of All-People Defence Festival (December 22).

In the morning the same day, a delegation of the Royal Cambodian Armyled by Secretary of State of the Defence Ministry Gen. Chieng Am laid a wreathat the Vietnam Friendship Monument.

Earlier on December 9, the Royal Cambodian Army, theUnited Front for National Salvation and authorities of Svay Rieng province helda ceremony to start construction of the Vietnam – Cambodia Friendship Monumentin the province.

On the occasion, the Vietnamese ConsulateGenerals in Preah Sihanouk and Battambang provinces also organised ceremonies to commemorate Vietnamese fallen martyrs./.

The Mekong Delta province of Bac Lieu on October 21 signed a cooperation agreement with Uiseong county, Gyeongsangbuk-do province of the Republic of Korea (RoK) on sending local labourers to the RoK to work seasonally under the form of locality-to-locality collaboration between the two countries in the 2023 - 2027 period.

Tien Giang strives to reduce poverty rate to 0.87% this year

Chinese sick sailor on vessel AMIS STAR provided with first aid
