250 wheelchairs and bicycles donated to Nghe An’s children

As many as 120 wheelchairs and 130 bicycles were donated to disabled and disadvantaged children in Vinh City, the central province of Nghe An on November 2 by the National Fund for Vietnamese Children’s Nghe An chapter and Vietnam Outreach Australia.
As many as 120 wheelchairs and 130 bicycles were donated to disabledand disadvantaged children in Vinh City, the central province of Nghe Anon November 2 by the National Fund for Vietnamese Children’s Nghe Anchapter and Vietnam Outreach Australia.

The gifts are expected to boost the children’s morale and help them continue going to school.

Over the past 5 years, Vietnam Outreach, an Australian charity, haspresented thousands of wheelchairs and bicycles to children in difficultcircumstances and children with disabilities all over the country.

Nghe An province has provided thousands of local children with freemedical checkups, medicine and surgeries over the past 20 years.-VNA

The Mekong Delta province of Bac Lieu on October 21 signed a cooperation agreement with Uiseong county, Gyeongsangbuk-do province of the Republic of Korea (RoK) on sending local labourers to the RoK to work seasonally under the form of locality-to-locality collaboration between the two countries in the 2023 - 2027 period.

Tien Giang strives to reduce poverty rate to 0.87% this year
