Hanoi (VNA) – The issues on the working agenda ofthe third plenum of the 13th Party Central Committee are very important, PartyGeneral Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong stressed while delivering his openingremarks at the event on July 5.

The Party chief stated these matters involve the leadershipand instruction for the realisation of goals and tasks regarding socio-economicgrowth and the building of a strong and transparent Party and political systemalong with a law-governed socialist state of the people, by the people, and forthe people.

He required the Party Central Committee to spend their timeconsidering thoroughly the tabled issues so as to contribute comments andrecommendations, and make decisions at the end of the plenum, which is slatedfor July 9.

The plenum is scheduled to discuss and decide on a number ofimportant issues relating to the socio-economic development plan in 2021-2025.

Other important issues on the agenda include the issuance ofworking regulations of the Party Central Committee, the Politburo, theSecretariat, and the Party Central Committee's Inspection Commission in the13th tenure; regulations on the implementation of the Party Charter, and ruleson inspection, supervision and discipline of the Party during the 13th tenure.

The Party Central Committee will also look into thenomination of leading positions of State agencies during the 15th tenure of theNational Assembly to be submitted to the 15th NA to elect or approve at itsfirst session, along with a number of other important issues. /.
